HOVER YOUR POINTER OVER A THUMBNAIL FOR A DESCRIPTION.

34067 Tangmere and 76079 running as 76029
on The Valentine's Cumbrian Mountain Express

14th February 2004

(Preston - Blackburn - Hellifield - Settle Jtn - Blea Moor - Appleby - Carlisle)
The train travelled with a "Pines Express" headboard and 76079 was renumbered as 76029 (a former S&D locomotive).
Unusually, the train was allowed to stop for a minute on Batty Moss Viaduct in memory of the late Brian Pickett
who was a part owner of Tangmere and had died a few weeks before the trip.
